Parry Sound Forest School

This new pilot program for 2026 allows kids a chance to make the most of snow days with playing and learning at forest school.
Snow Day Camp will follow the same structure of our other day camps, with a morning gathering circle to talk about potential activities for the day, instructor-led learning teachings that help kids connect with nature, time to play and time to explore.

January 5, 2026 - March 13, 2026

Monday - Friday, any school day that buses are in NNDSB are cancelled.

Additional Information:

Full day program for children aged 4 - 12 yrs
Snacks and lunch are the responsibility of the parent
Program runs from 8:30am-3:00pm
Registration required, space for 12 children
Ratio of one educator to six children
Cost is $60/day, must register for 5 snow days.
Fees must be paid in full (in the chance that there aren’t 5 bus cancellation days from January to February, funds will credited to future PSFS programs as credit)
Once registered, children are automatically registered to attend to the next 5 bus cancellation days, on any day of the week that they occur.
In the extreme case of school closures, then PSFS will be closed as well, no Snow Day Camp will be offered.

**Please note: Since this is a pilot project, we will be closely monitoring registrations. In the unlikely chance of low registrations, we may need to cancel the program until a later date (in which case all fees will be refunded).
