Our Mission
Parry Sound Forest School strives to provide a child-centred, inquiry-based experience where our learners can develop greater:
resilience,
perseverance,
confidence,
communication and social skills,
the ability to navigate risk safely,
and form personal connections to many facets of the Georgian Bay Biosphere.
Through this personal connection with nature, we strive to foster an ethic of care towards our local environment and ultimately towards living a more ecologically sustainable life.
Our Programs
Summer Camp ~ Fall-to-Spring Weekly Program ~ After School Care ~ Day Camp ~ School Trips ~ and more, all with the vision of more children growing healthy, happy and more connected with the land through nature connection and outdoor play.
Weekly Programs
Join us for hands-on learning, outdoor play and nature exploration 3 seasons of the year. Each age group runs one day a week.

Hear about and taste the gifts of the land as we forage tea leaves and cook over the campfire with our garden vegetables.
Winter Solstice Lantern Walk

6:30 - 7:30 pm
Join us in welcoming Winter with a moonlit hike, storytelling and campfire.
Lanterns will be provided or arrive at 6:00 pm to make your own paper lantern.
