Our Mission

Parry Sound Forest School strives to provide a child-centred, inquiry-based experience where our learners can develop greater:

resilience,
perseverance,
confidence,
communication and social skills,
the ability to navigate risk safely,
and to form personal connections to many facets of the Georgian Bay Biosphere.

Through this personal connection with nature, we strive to foster an ethic of care towards our local environment and ultimately towards living a more ecologically sustainable life.

Weekly Programs

Join us for hands-on learning, outdoor play and nature exploration 3 seasons of the year. Each age group runs one day a week.

Fall September 14 - December 18, 2026

Winter Jan 4 - Mar 8, 2027

Spring Mar 22 - June 18, 2027

PSFS Friends Loyalty Discount - new this year!

We are thankful for the loyalty of our community of families who share in our mission of getting kids learning and connecting in nature. We hope that you'll continue to share your PSFS stories with new families in Parry Sound.

New this year, families who refer a new family to Parry Sound Forest School weekly programs (Forest Families, Sprouts, Chickadees, Saplings and Rangers), will receive a 10% discount* on their own program registration.

Just remind the new family to add your name to the "How did you hear about PSFS" portion of their registration form.

*10% discount applies to the highest priced registration item on your family's invoice, once per season (multiple referral discounts may not be used together in one season).
