Our Locations

Canadore College

Main Location Year Round

Six children with hats standing in a lush forest overlooking a pond surrounded by trees.

Located at 1 College Drive, this is our year round home base. It is situated beside Briggs Lake, an area rich with plants, wildlife and opportunities to have hands-on experiences with frogs, fish and other “swamp monsters”. Our cabin offers shelter and a warm fire if needed.

Kinsmen Park

After school location

Children sitting around a campfire in a wooded area, roasting marshmallows on sticks and enjoying the outdoor setting.

Our new after school location this year at Kinsmen Centennial Park is a little forest with a big field offering plenty of opportunity to run and explore. It includes lots of fun play opportunities with a rope swing, slack line, mud kitchen. In the winter there’s skating and sliding to enjoy and a cozy place to come in to to warm up. This location is found at 110 Parry Sound Dr.

Foley Fairgrounds

Located at 60 Rankin Lake Rd, our Foley site is located at the Fairgrounds. The forest surrounding the fairgrounds is so much fun to explore - loaded with plants, wildlife, pond life and BLACKBERRIES!

Carling Township Forest

Summer camp location

Carling Township Forest

Located behind the ball diamond at 4 West Carling Bay Road, this location is the most undisturbed of all our sites.  It is one hundred acres of mixed forest including towering white pine, hemlock,  beech and maple and a dark and mysterious eastern white cedar grove.  There is also a beaver pond, a sand pit and a small waterfall where natural treasures await!  This is truly a magical forest to explore and play in.

The Holmstead Farm and Forest

Summer camp location

Holmstead Farm and Forest

Located at 29 Dillon Rd., Carling, this site invites exploring together through 100 acres of towering hemlocks and pines. The creek and waterfall are favourite spots to play. This land is home to species at risk, including skinks! Of course, daily visits with the Holmstead goats are also included.
